Certain Toys and Games are specific to an age group.
This is mostly because children of different ages are at different levels of maturity, as well as analytical understanding and development.
Some children are geniuses, so there are exceptions to the rule, but in general age ranges have certain levels of difficulty that naturally lend to being practical and enjoyable for them specifically.
Some kids like certain toys that later do not interest them as teens.
Also others never lose the kid in them and even businessmen have been known to go to sleep with a teddy bear beside their pillow.
